Trade shows are an extremely effective marketing activity for selling to highly targeted audiences with purchasing power. 

Exhibiting at trade shows can help you gauge the level of interest in your products and services, and determine leads and generate sales.

They are also an effective way for you to connect with new industry contacts as well as set up existing meetings to strengthen existing relationships, and find out about recent market and industry trends that may affect your business. 

Like any other marketing activity, they require skilful planning and execution before, during and after the trade show, to produce the desired results. It is important to remember that a trade show is one of several tools of entering a market and should not to be viewed as a single tool towards successful market entry.
